The Limited Medical & Voluntary Benefits Conference Announces eDocAmerica as a Silver Sponsor.

The Limited Medical & Voluntary Benefits Conference would like to announce eDocAmerica as a Silver Sponsor of the 1st Limited Medical & Voluntary Benefits Conference on October 25th and 26th, 2009.

eDocAmerica began in the late 1990’s at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). The company was initially part of the Med School’s Bioventures program and beta tested its services with a local New York Exchange company. In 2001, private equity was raised and eDocAmerica became an Arkansas LLC. Since then eDocAmerica has grown to serve over a million people in all 50 states and 30+ foreign countries. Numerous additional services have been added over the years. However, the company has never strayed from its original mission to provide consumers with access to the professional assistance they need to make better healthcare decisions and preserve their limited financial resources. To this end, eDocAmerica has reversed the historical medical paradigm of queuing up patients for the convenience of physicians, and instead queues up physicians for the convenience of the patients.

For over a decade eDocAmerica has been the nation’s leader in providing consumers with low-cost, online access to hassle free answers from board certified physicians, psychologists, pharmacist, and dentists to all of their health related questions. Physician responses are normally received within 2-4 hours and guaranteed within 24 hours.

eDocAmerica’s service has been proven to save valuable health care dollars and also includes Weekly Health Tips, Health Risk Assessments, a searchable Medical Library, a 3D Video Library, a Personal Health Record and a 24 hour Nurse Call telephone service. Consumers now have access to the professional assistance they need to make better decisions regarding their family’s health and help preserve the limited dollars they have to spend on health care.
